About Us
Happy Hearts provides early intervention services to children ages birth to three in Schuylkill and Berks Counties at no cost to the family, if the child qualifies for services. Happy Hearts’ staff works collaboratively with the client, family members or caregivers in appropriate activities and routines that are typical for each child to learn different techniques and strategies to maximize their individual potential. The ultimate goal is to positively influence the child’s participation in his/her everyday routines and activities. Each therapy session takes place in the child’s “natural environment” – typically the child’s home or daycare – which enables the children to be comfortable in their surroundings.
